Guidance Update ReportKyodo Printing Co., Ltd. <7914> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend in the afternoon session on April 30th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has decreased 25.0%, from the previous forecast of 3.6 billion yen to 2.7 billion yen (compared to 2.08 billion yen in the previous period), leading to a reduction in the profit growth rate from 72.8% to 29.6%. However, the full-year consolidated net income has been revised upward 1.5%, from the previous forecast of 3.25 billion yen to 3.3 billion yen (compared to 1.49 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 2.2 times to 2.2 times.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 33.6%, from the previous forecast of 2.68 billion yen to 1.78 billion yen (compared to 1.38 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), leading to a reduction in the profit growth rate from 93.1% to 28.3%.
At the same time, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 135 yen to 140 yen (compared to 100 yen in the previous period).
