Earnings ReportKOMATSU LTD. <6301> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on US-GAAP) in the afternoon session on April 28th (14:30). The consolidated pretax income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 increased 5.1% from the previous period to 604 billion yen. However, for the fiscal year ending March 2026, the profit is expected to decrease by 26.9% from the previous period to 442 billion yen.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 167 yen to 190 yen (compared to 167 yen in the prior term), and has decided to continue with a dividend of 190 yen for the current term as well.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated pretax income grew 21.5% from the same period last year, reaching 176 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 14.4% in the same period last year to 16.7%.
