Earnings ReportMARUZEN CO., LTD. <5982> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on April 11th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending February 2025 increased 25.6% from the previous period to 6.65 billion yen. In the fiscal year ending February 2026, the profit is expected to grow by 1.4% to 6.75 billion yen, marking the third consecutive term of record-high profits. This will be the fifth consecutive term of revenue and the third consecutive term of profit growth.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 90 yen to 115 yen (compared to 90 yen in the prior term), and has decided to continue with a dividend of 115 yen for the current term as well.
In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 45.3% from the same period last year, reaching 1.46 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 6.2% in the same period last year to 8.3%.
