CUMICA, The Current Fiscal Year Net Income Revised Downward to a Loss, Dividend Revised down by 0.5 yen

Guidance Update ReportCUMICA CORPORATION <8887> [TSE Std] announced a revision to its performance and dividend in the afternoon session on April 10th (15:15). The net income/loss (non-consolidated) for the fiscal year ending May 2025 has been revised downward from an expected profit of 79 million yen to a loss of 677 million yen (compared to a profit of 212 million yen in the previous period), turning to a loss outlook. However, the full-year ordinary profit has been revised upward 72.6%, from the previous forecast of 113 million yen to 195 million yen (compared to 302 million yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 62.6% to 35.4%.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the December to May period (2H) net income/loss has been revised downward from an expected profit of 146 million yen to a loss of 610 million yen (compared to a profit of 188 million yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a loss outlook.
Due to a decline in performance, the company has reduced its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 4 yen to 3.5 yen (compared to 30 yen in the previous period).
