PLANET,INC. <2391> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 26th (15:40). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending July 2025 (August 2024 to January 2025) decreased 9.9% from the same period last year to 299 million yen. However, the progress rate toward the full-year plan of 510 million yen was 58.6%, also surpassing the five-year average of 48.6%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the February to July period (2H) is expected to drop 41.2% from the same period last year to 211 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from November to January (2Q), the ordinary profit decreased to 167 million yen, a 6.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 21.8% in the same period last year to 20.1%.
