Guidance Update Report

The Bank of Nagoya, Ltd. <8522> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision in the afternoon session on February 4th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised upward 20.8%, from the previous forecast of 17.3 billion yen to 20.9 billion yen (compared to 14.5 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 19.2% to 44.0%. The company has further increased its previous forecast of record profits for the first time in nineteen years.

Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 51.4%, from the previous forecast of 6.99 billion yen to 10.5 billion yen (compared to 8.22 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 28.9% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
