NIPPON CHEMIPHAR CO., LTD. <4539> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on January 31st (15:30). The consolidated operating profit/loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) turned into a profit of 355 million yen (compared to a loss of 36 million yen in the same period last year). The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 200 million yen is 177.5%, already exceeding the target and also exceeding the five-year average of 129.0%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated operating loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to further decrease loss of 155 million yen (compared to a loss of 458 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated operating profit grew 6.5% from the same period last year, reaching 279 million yen. The operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 3.2% in the same period last year to 3.2%.
