Guidance Update ReportCERES INC. <3696> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend at noon (12:00) on December 23rd. The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending December 2024 has been revised upward 40.0%, from the previous forecast of 2 billion yen to 2.8 billion yen (compared to 1.21 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 64.3% to 2.3 times.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the July to December period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 85.9%, from the previous forecast of 931 million yen to 1.73 billion yen (compared to 686 million yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 35.7% to 2.5 times.
In light of the strong performance, the company has significantly increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 40 yen to 60 yen (compared to 20 yen in the previous period).
