Earnings Report

NexTone Inc. <7094> [TSE-G] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 8th (13:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) decreased by 9.8% from the same period last year to 397 million yen. The progress rate against the 1 billion yen full-year plan was 39.7%, also falling below the five-year average of 46.8%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to surge by 2.7 times that of the same period last year, reaching 603 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 155 million yen, a 31.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin sharply declined from 10.2% in the same period last year to 3.3%.
