Earnings ReportPremium Water Holdings,Inc. <2588> [TSE-S] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on November 7th (16:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) expanded to 3.12 billion yen, an increase of 52.5% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year consolidated net income has been revised upward by 17.0%, from the previous forecast of 4.7 billion yen to 5.5 billion yen (compared to 5.77 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 18.6% to 4.8%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to drop by 36.3% from the same period last year to 2.37 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 90 yen to 95 yen (compared to 80 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income grew by 25.2% from the same period last year, reaching 1.69 billion yen. The operating profit margin jumped from 11.2% in the same period last year to 15.3%.
