Lacto Japan Co.,Ltd. <3139> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 15th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending November 2024 (December 2023 to August 2024) expanded to 3.47 billion yen, an increase of 69.0% compared to the same period last year. The progress rate against the 4.1 billion yen full-year plan was 84.9%, also surpassing the five-year average of 79.4%.

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the September to November period (4Q) is expected to decrease by 21.2% from the same period last year to 621 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased by 70.5% from the same period last year, reaching 1.21 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 1.9% in the same period last year to 2.4%.
