Guidance Update Report

SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. <6222> [TSE-P] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on September 20th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) has been revised downward from an expected profit of profit of 800 million yen to a loss of 2.2 billion yen (compared to a profit of 564 million yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a loss outlook.

Furthermore, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged from the estimate of 2.2 billion yen(compared to 1.01 billion yen in the previous period).

Due to a decline in performance, the dividend for the first half of this fiscal year has been significantly reduced from the original plan of 10 yen to 5 yen (compared to 5 yen in the same period of the previous year), resulting in the annual dividend of 15 yen.
