TAIYO BUSSAN KAISHA,LTD. <9941> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on August 14th (16:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2025 (October 2024 to June 2025) decreased 6.9% from the same period last year to 135 million yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 254 million yen was 53.1%, also falling below the five-year average of 83.7%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the July to September period (4Q) is expected to surge 2.1 times that of the same period last year, reaching 119 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (3Q), the ordinary profit dropped to 42 million yen, a 35.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 1.8% in the same period last year to 1.7%.
