The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) expanded 3.52 billion yen, an increase 36.3% compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 7.30 billion yen was 48.3%, exceeding the five-year average of 34.3%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 9.9% from the same period last year to 3.77 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 82.9% from the same period last year, reaching 1.21 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 0.7% in the same period last year to 1.4%.
