HOTEL NEWGRAND CO.,LTD. <9720> [TSE Std] announced a performance revision after the market closed on January 10th (15:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the fiscal year ending November 2024 has decreased 20.8%, from the previous forecast of 308 million yen to 244 million yen (compared to 257 million yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 5.1% decrease in profit.

Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the June to November period (2H) ordinary profit has decreased 79.0%, from the previous forecast of 81 million yen to 17 million yen (compared to 144 million yen in the same period of the previous year), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 43.8% to 88.2%.
