The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2025 (October 2024 to June 2025) dropped 44.1% from the same period last year to 0.72 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 2.18 billion yen was 33.1%, also falling below the five-year average of 86.0%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the July to September period (4Q) is expected to surge 3.1 times that of the same period last year, reaching 1.45 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (3Q), the consolidated ordinary loss expanded to a loss of 1.74 billion yen (compared to a loss of 1.40 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin worsened from -21.1% in the same period last year to -22.4%.
