HOKKAIDO CHUO BUS CO., LTD. <9085> [SapporoSE] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 13th (14:30). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) was a reduced loss of 246 million yen (compared to a loss of 306 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to drop by 38.0% from the same period last year to 1.09 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 122 million yen, a 10.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 0.8% in the same period last year to 0.3%.
