The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July 2024 to March 2025) increased 5.4% from the same period last year, reaching 387 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 600 million yen was 64.5%, exceeding the five-year average of 59.1%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to June period (4Q) is expected to decrease 25.5% from the same period last year to 213 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 32.1% from the same period last year, reaching 111 million yen. The operating profit margin improved from 4.0% in the same period last year to 5.1%.
