Earnings ReportANABUKI KOSAN INC. <8928> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 9th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July 2024 to March 2025) decreased 21.0% from the same period last year to 5.29 billion yen. However, the progress rate toward the full-year plan of 5.5 billion yen was 96.3%, also surpassing the five-year average of 79.8%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to June period (4Q) is expected to significant drop 54.7% from the same period last year to 0.2 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a loss of 0.58 billion yen (compared to a profit of 3.06 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from 7.5% in the same period last year to -1.1%.
