COSMOS INITIA Co., Ltd. <8844> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 7th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) surged 2.3 times that of the same period last year, reaching 6.04 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 7.8 billion yen was 77.4%, also surpassing the progress rate of 39.4% from the same period of the previous year.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to significant drop 56.5% from the same period last year to 1.75 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 29.5% from the same period last year, reaching 0.76 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 3.4% in the same period last year to 4.8%.
