Sompo Holdings, Net Income to Reach 335 Billion Yen for The Current Fiscal Year, Dividend Raised by 18 yen

Earnings ReportSompo Holdings, Inc. <8630> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 20th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 was 1.7% from the previous period to 422 billion yen. With the transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated net income is expected to decrease by 335 billion yen.
At the same time, the company has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 150 yen, an increase of 18 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 41 billion yen, a 55.8% decrease compared to the same period last year.
