Earnings ReportFuyo General Lease Co., Ltd. <8424> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on May 9th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 increased 1.0% from the previous period to 69 billion yen exceeding the previous forecast of 66 billion yen and resulted in an increase in profit, a complete reversal from the forecast for a decline in profit. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to grow by 1.4% to 70 billion yen, marking the ninth consecutive term of record-high profits. This will be the twelfth consecutive term of profit growth.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 450 yen to 455 yen (compared to 440 yen in the prior term), and the annual dividend for this fiscal year is 158 yen, taking into account the forward stock split scheduled to be allocated on March 31, this dividend represents an actual increase of 4.2%.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 58.1% from the same period last year, reaching 21.6 billion yen. The operating profit margin significantly improved from 6.6% in the same period last year to 10.1%.
