Fuyo General Lease Co., Ltd. <8424> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 5th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) decreased 13.3% from the same period last year to 47.4 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 66 billion yen was 71.9%, also falling below the five-year average of 75.4%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to expand 35.9% from the same period last year, reaching 18.5 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 13.1 billion yen, a 39.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 11.7% in the same period last year to 8.4%.
