Nintendo Co., Ltd. <7974> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on August 1st (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) decreased 15.6% from the same period last year to 95.8 billion yen. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 380 billion yen was 25.2%, almost the same as the five-year average of 27.4%.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin sharply declined from 22.1% in the same period last year to 9.9%.
