Earnings ReportMUTO SEIKO CO. <7927> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 13th (15:40). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 increased 6.0% from the previous period to 2.57 billion yen. However, for the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 12.8% from the previous period to 2.25 billion yen.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 93.5 yen to 94.5 yen (compared to 100 yen in the prior term), and has decided to reduce the dividend this fiscal year to 90 yen, a decrease of 4.5 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 0.4 billion yen, a 6.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin improved from 3.9% in the same period last year to 5.0%.
