Earnings ReportSATORI ELECTRIC CO.,LTD. <7420> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on April 14th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2025 (June 2024 to February 2025) decreased 16.8% from the same period last year to 2.12 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 3.5 billion yen was 60.8%, also falling below the five-year average of 75.2%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the March to May period (4Q) is expected to grow 25.2% from the same period last year, reaching 1.37 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 0.46 billion yen, a 24.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 2.5% in the same period last year to 2.0%.
