StemCell Institute <7096> [TSE-G] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 12th (15:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) increased by 22.2% from the same period last year, reaching 264 million yen. However, The progress rate against the 600 million yen full-year plan was 44.0%, also falling below the four-year average of 51.9%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to expand by 67.2% from the same period last year, reaching 336 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the ordinary profit grew by 11.1% from the same period last year, reaching 140 million yen. However, the operating profit margin decreased from 20.0% in the same period last year to 19.4%.
