Earnings ReportNamura Shipbuilding Co.,Ltd. <7014> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 13th (15:40). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 expanded 47.5% from the previous period to 29.5 billion yen. However, for the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 28.8% from the previous period to 21 billion yen.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 35 yen to 50 yen (compared to 20 yen in the prior term), and has decided to reduce the dividend this fiscal year to 40 yen, a decrease of 10 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 4.52 billion yen, a 28.6% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin rose from 12.6% in the same period last year to 14.7%.
