Earnings ReportTOA CORPORATION <6809> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 1st (15:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) significantly dropped by 81.2% from the same period last year to 139 million yen. The progress rate against the 2.4 billion yen full-year plan was 5.8%, also falling below the five-year average of 34.1%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to expand by 79.7% from the same period last year, reaching 2.26 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 251 million yen, a 68.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 6.8% in the same period last year to 6.7%.
