Sanken Electric Co.,Ltd. <6707> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 7th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) turned into a loss of 10.8 billion yen (compared to a profit of 20.7 billion yen in the same period last year).

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to expand to a loss of 4.99 billion yen (compared to a loss of 2.47 billion yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 3.43 billion yen, a 13.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 7.9% in the same period last year to 1.0%.
