Earnings ReportJVC KENWOOD Corporation <6632> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on May 1st (15:45). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 expanded 55.8% from the previous period to 20.2 billion yen. However, for the fiscal year ending March 2026, the profit is expected to drop by 31.0% from the previous period to 14 billion yen.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 13 yen to 15 yen (compared to 12 yen in the prior term), and has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 18 yen, an increase of 3 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income surged 3.0 times that of the same period last year, reaching 6.2 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 3.5% in the same period last year to 5.0%.
