BALMUDA Inc. <6612> [TSE-G] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 7th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) was a reduced loss of 229 million yen (compared to a loss of 1.02 billion yen in the same period last year).

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 304 million yen (compared to a loss of 208 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated ordinary loss improved to a deficit of loss of 262 million yen (compared to a loss of 432 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically improved from -20.3% in the same period last year to -6.2%.
