The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2025 (July 2024 to March 2025) decreased 5.6% from the same period last year to 4.18 billion yen.
However, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 25.0%, from the previous forecast of 4.4 billion yen to 5.5 billion yen (compared to 4.82 billion yen in the previous period), record profits reach three consecutive terms, turning to a 13.9% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to June period (2H) is expected to increase 3.0 times, from the previous forecast of 0.54 billion yen to 1.64 billion yen (compared to 1.42 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 14.8% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 27 yen to 35 yen (compared to 23 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit significantly dropped to 0.32 billion yen, a 68.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 10.9% in the same period last year to 5.8%.
