Earnings ReportBayCurrent, Inc. <6532> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on October 15th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2026 (March to August) increased 28.9% from the previous period non-consolidated to 17.2 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 37.3 billion yen was 46.2%, exceeding the five-year average of 41.8%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the September to February period (second half) is expected to grow 15.4% from the same period last year, reaching 20.0 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (2Q), the consolidated net income grew 28.4% from the same period last year, reaching 8.21 billion yen. The operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 32.4% in the same period last year to 32.4%.
