Earnings ReportTAKEUCHI MFG.CO.,LTD. <6432> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 10th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2026 (March to August) was 23.6 billion yen, a 2.2% increase compared to the same period last year, resulting in an increase in profits compared to the previous forecast of a 10.3% decrease.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 13.7%, from the previous forecast of 32.8 billion yen to 37.3 billion yen (compared to 35.6 billion yen in the previous period), record profits reach five consecutive terms, turning to a 4.8% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the September to February period (second half) is expected to grow 9.6% from the same period last year, reaching 13.6 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 200 yen to 210 yen (compared to 200 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 16.0% from the same period last year, reaching 13.2 billion yen. However, the operating profit margin decreased from 25.3% in the same period last year to 19.5%.
