Earnings ReportMars Group Holdings Corporation <6419> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on January 30th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) increased 14.9% from the same period last year, reaching 11.3 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 13.1 billion yen was 86.3%, also surpassing the five-year average of 75.7%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to drop 32.5% from the same period last year to 1.79 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 2.83 billion yen, a 19.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 33.5% in the same period last year to 28.3%.
