DesignOne Japan, Inc. <6048> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on April 11th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending August 2025 (September 2024 to February 2025) expanded to a loss of 103 million yen (compared to a loss of 68 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary loss for the March to August period (2H) is expected to expand to a loss of 140 million yen (compared to a loss of 120 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from December to February (2Q), the consolidated ordinary loss improved to a deficit of 17 million yen (compared to a loss of 39 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin improved from -8.1% in the same period last year to -7.3%.
