WASEDA GAKUSHUKENKYUKAI CO.,LTD. <5869> [TSE-S] announced its financial results at noon (12:00) on November 14th. The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) dropped by 35.4% from the same period last year to 424 million yen. The progress rate against the 1.35 billion yen full-year plan was 31.4%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 45.7%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow by 18.7% from the same period last year, reaching 926 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the ordinary profit grew by 10.0% from the same period last year, reaching 574 million yen. The operating profit margin rose from 29.4% in the same period last year to 30.0%.
