JFE Holdings, 65% Decrease in Undisclosed Net Income for First Half, Previously Undecided First Half Dividend Reduced by 10 Yen

Earnings ReportJFE Holdings,Inc. <5411> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on August 4th (14:00). The consolidated net income for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) significantly dropped 74.1% from the same period last year to 7.12 billion yen.
In addition, the previously undisclosed forecast for the first half (April to September) shows that consolidated net income drop by 64.7% from the same period last year to 15.0 billion yen.
Due to a decline in performance, the previously undecided the first half of this fiscal year will be set at 40 yen (compared to 50 yen in the same period of the previous year).
In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin worsened from 3.7% in the same period last year to 1.5%.
