OHARA INC. <5218> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on September 12th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending October 2025 (November 2024 to July 2025) was 1.95 billion yen, a 1.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 2.30 billion yen was 85.0%, also surpassing the five-year average of 77.7%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the August to October period (4Q) is expected to drop 43.5% from the same period last year to 0.34 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from May to July (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 0.66 billion yen, a 21.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 10.8% in the same period last year to 7.2%.
