UPCON, Ordinary Profit Forecast for First Half Revised Upward to an Unexpected 14% Increase, Full Year also Increased

UPCON CORPORATION <5075> [NSE Next] announced a performance revision after the market closed on July 15th (15:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) forecast for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending January 2026 (February to July) has been revised upward 2.8 times, from the previous forecast of 85 million yen to 237 million yen (compared to 208 million yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 13.9% increase in the ordinary profit outlook.

Following the strong performance in the first half, the full-year forecast for ordinary profit has been revised upward 30.5%, from the previous forecast of 177 million yen to 231 million yen (compared to 337 million yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 47.5% to 31.5%.

At the same time, the year-end lump-sum dividend remains undecided.
