Earnings ReportShinnihonseiyaku Co., Ltd. <4931> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 13th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2025 (October 2024 to March 2025) increased 21.9% from the same period last year, reaching 2.54 billion yen, exceeded the previous forecast of 2.12 billion yen.
The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 4.52 billion yen was 56.2%, also surpassing the five-year average of 42.8%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to September period (2H) is expected to decrease 2.0% from the same period last year to 1.98 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 8.2% from the same period last year, reaching 0.98 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 9.4% in the same period last year to 10.2%.
