MORISHITA JINTAN CO.,LTD. <4524> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 12th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) dropped 46.9% from the same period last year to 525 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 900 million yen was 58.3%, also falling below the five-year average of 95.1%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 375 million yen (compared to a loss of 173 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 263 million yen, a 23.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 10.6% in the same period last year to 7.5%.
