FUSO CHEMICAL CO.,LTD. <4368> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 31st (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) increased 23.4% from the same period last year, reaching 9.80 billion yen, resulting in an increase in profits compared to the previous forecast of a 3.7% decrease.

In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 27.5%, from the previous forecast of 13.8 billion yen to 17.6 billion yen (compared to 16.5 billion yen in the previous period), turning to a 6.3% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 9.5% from the same period last year to 7.79 billion yen.

In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 76 yen to 82 yen (compared to 73 yen in the previous period).

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 44.2% from the same period last year, reaching 5.27 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 24.4% in the same period last year to 26.5%.
