TORAY INDUSTRIES,INC. <3402> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on August 8th (13:00). The consolidated net income for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) dropped 36.1% from the same period last year to 17.1 billion yen. Progress toward the plan for the six months ending September (first half) of 35.0 billion yen was 49.0%, also falling below the five-year average of 85.0%.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin worsened from 6.0% in the same period last year to 4.6%.
