CHIMNEY CO., LTD. <3178> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 12th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) decreased 24.0% from the same period last year to 0.85 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 1.3 billion yen was 66.0%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 78.1%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to expand 39.4% from the same period last year, reaching 0.44 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 0.49 billion yen, a 21.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 8.6% in the same period last year to 6.5%.
