Star seeds Co.,Ltd. <3083> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on January 14th (15:30). The consolidated net loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2025 (March to November) expanded to a loss of 182 million yen (compared to a loss of 78 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income/loss for the December to February period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 87 million yen (compared to a loss of 254 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from September to November (3Q), the consolidated net loss improved to a deficit of 44 million yen (compared to a loss of 85 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin remained almost flat, changing from -2.3% in the same period last year to -2.0%.
