JFLA Holdings Inc. <3069> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 12th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) surged by 6.9 times that of the same period last year, reaching 632 million yen. The progress rate against the full-year plan of 500 million yen is 126.4%, already exceeding the target and also exceeding the same period of the previous year of 25.1%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the October to March period (second half) is expected to turn into a loss of 132 million yen (compared to a profit of 274 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 160 million yen, a 16.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 0.8% in the same period last year to 0.9%.
