Pacific Net lifts full-year earnings forecast for fiscal 2026
Pacific Net Co Ltd <3021> raised its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending May 2026 after the market close on Tuesday. The company lifted its revenue guidance to 10.3 billion yen from the previously projected 10.0 billion yen (up 27.2% year-on-year). Operating profit was revised upward to 1.35 billion yen from 1.1 billion yen (up 60.3%), while net profit is now expected to reach 846 million yen, up from 677 million yen (up 59.7%).
The upward revision was driven by strong orders in the IT subscription business as companies increasingly seek to reduce operational burdens, leading to stable recurring revenue growth. The ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) business, which handles data erasure and used PC disposal, also boosted profitability. The segment benefited from an increase in used IT equipment volume due to OS upgrade demand and rising resale prices for used PCs amid soaring costs for new hardware.
Concurrently, Pacific Net reported nine-month results for the June-February period, with revenue of 7.79 billion yen (up 34.0% year-on-year). Operating profit jumped 2.2 times to 1.167 billion yen, and net profit rose 2.4 times to 756 million yen.
