Earnings ReportKuroda Group Co.,Ltd. <287A> [TSE Std] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on November 13th (16:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) dropped 49.5% from the same period last year to 1.16 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 4.00 billion yen was 29.1%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 58.8%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to expand 75.9% from the same period last year, reaching 2.83 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 1.05 billion yen, a 15.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin improved from 4.7% in the same period last year to 6.7%.
